ccTLD is a country code Top Level Domain. It refers to internet top level domain used or reserved to a country, sovereign state or independent territory identified by a country code. ASCII country codes are usually two letter long.

As of 2018, IANA started allowing internationalized country top level domain. This refers to domain names in native languages e.g domains in Hindu, French, and Arabic among other.
